Pick the best cookie at your cookie swap
A cookie swap is better with a winner. Number the cookies, let everyone taste, then send the Rankd link. Each person ranks every cookie, and the result is the cookie with the most support across the room.
- Cookie 1
- Cookie 2
- Cookie 3
- Cookie 4
- Cookie 5
Free. Edit the options, then send one link to your group.
Why ranking beats a regular poll here
- Ranking every cookie is fairer than one vote each when there are many entries.
- Use numbers for a blind judging so nobody votes for their own.
- Results are instant at the end of the party.
How it works
- Add the question and 3 to 30 options
- Send one private link to the group
- Everyone ranks privately, in about a minute
- You reveal the winner
Tips
- Number the plates and keep bakers’ names off the ballot.
- Ask people to taste everything before ranking.
- Run a second rank for “best decorated.”
Questions
Can I run it blind?
Yes. Name the options “Cookie 1,” “Cookie 2,” and so on, and reveal who baked each after the winner is announced.
Can people see how I ranked?
No. Each person’s order stays private. Everyone sees the group’s final order and where they personally landed, never anyone else’s individual ranking.
Is it free? Does everyone need the app?
Rankd is free and runs in the browser, so there is nothing to download. Friends open the link from any group chat (iMessage, WhatsApp, Slack, email) and rank in about a minute.
Decide something else
